Terms

Terms

Float Translate provides a desktop translation app and related website, account, license, support, and update services. Float Translate Pro is a one-time software license for eligible Pro features, not a managed translation service.

Effective June 20, 2026

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be able to enter into these terms and use the app only where it is lawful for you to do so.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of account and purchase information you provide.
  • You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account.

Product and license

  • The Pro plan is identified internally as all_platform_pro.
  • A Pro license belongs to the purchasing account and can be active on up to 3 supported desktop devices across Windows and macOS.
  • Sales confirmation and license delivery are completed through manual sales and our internal license system.
  • You must sign in to the app to activate Pro features on a device.

Device slots and account use

  • Device slots are intended for your own supported desktop devices.
  • Do not share accounts, resell licenses, transfer purchase access, or bypass activation limits.
  • Contact support if activation fails or a device slot needs review.

Feature scope and availability

Float Translate includes local app features and optional integrations. Cloud sync and account-related features may require login, online validation, and service availability.

Paid purchases are handled through the purchase flow by a third-party payment service or merchant of record. Pro does not include bundled AI usage quota. You may connect supported translation or AI providers according to their own terms.

Your content and outputs

You keep ownership of text, images, files, prompts, translations, and other content you process through the app or connected providers.

You are responsible for the content you submit, the providers you connect, and how you review and use translation or AI outputs.

Third-party services

Float Translate may connect to third-party services for payment, sign-in, analytics, support, updates, hosting, translation, AI, or other optional integrations.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, pricing, output quality, or data handling.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the app or account services for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive activity.
  • Do not interfere with, probe, overload, bypass, or disrupt payment, account, activation, license, update, or security systems.
  • Do not scrape, automate, resell, sublicense, or provide hosted access to the app or Pro features without written permission.
  • Do not submit content or connect providers in a way that violates law, third-party rights, provider terms, or these terms.

License revocation

A license may be revoked if the related account is revoked, the payment is refunded, a chargeback is filed, or the account is used to abuse payment, activation, or license systems.

Reverse engineering, automated abuse, credential sharing, and resale of license access are not allowed.

Service changes

Features, integrations, account services, update services, and supported platforms may change over time.

If these terms change materially, the updated terms will be posted here with the effective date. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.

Disclaimers

The app, website, account services, support, updates, and integrations are provided as available and without promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit every use case.

Translation and AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety, or high-impact decisions.

Liability limits

To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer or data protection law.
